Desperation Post

O Dear Wee Poetry. I'm sorry I've neglected you. I'm sorry that I am only here because I've been locked out of my other blog and have an itch to post. You are a good little blog, and you deserve more love and attention. Especially because wow there has been a lot of knitting in my life lately, and you are the place for knitting. I promise to do better in the New Year.
Anyone else have any New Year's resolutions? One oddity about me is that I love making resolutions. I think of them as a little preview of all the fun things I will get to do next year, or all the ways I will be even more pleased with myself. That's my main goal with self-improvement - to like myself even more than I already do. Because shouldn't we all be our own favorite company?
Since this is a knit blog - the photo above is your gratuitous knit content. It's the unclaimed mystery sock I wrote about the other day.

Meathead Knitalong

Larissa's blog was one of the first blogs I ever read, so when she posted a call for people to knit her meathead hat for a book she is working on, I had to add a meathead to my knitting list. I first found Larissa's blog when I read an article about her original meathead installation. I thought the article was really intriguing and I loved that she had taken this craft that I loved and elevated it to fine art in a really interesting way.
